A routine check-up is recommended every six to 12 months for the early detection of dental problems and to keep your teeth healthy.
During the examination we check for:
- Signs of decay or cracking
- The condition of previous restorations
- Any signs of gum disease or oral cancer
Dental examinations are occasionally supported by our radiology service to identify hidden issues. We use both full-mouth digital imaging to minimise radiation exposure, as well as intra-oral x-rays.
During the examination you will be advised if restorative treatment is required.
Oral hygiene support is also available and can include cleaning, gum therapy, dietary advice and fluoride treatment – all of which can help avoid future problems.
