At Special Care Dental we cater for all age groups, including children from as young as two years.
In fact we highly recommend early visits to the dentist for children to help detect any problems in growth and development, and to monitor their oral health.
Visiting a dentist at a young age establishes good patterns of preventative dental health and helps reduce the ‘fear factor’. It’s also a good idea for young children to attend their parent’s routine examination so they are less anxious when it is their turn for a check-up.
Special Care Dental provides dental support and treatment for children in many areas:
- Crooked or crowded teeth
- Teeth not meeting
- Thumb sucking or dummy use
- Speech impediment
- Breathing problems or snoring
- Preventative dentistry

- Orthodontic referrals
- Poor oral hygiene and diet
