Elvina graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Adelaide in 2010, and returned to university to expand her scope and complete a post graduate Certificate in Oral Health Science in 2017.
As an Oral Health Therapist, Elvina is qualified to complete comprehensive examinations and general dental treatment for patients of all ages, including restorations (fillings), periodontal management and emergency pain assessments. Elvina can also provide a broad scope of treatment strategies to address dental disease for children, including deciduous pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, and extractions, and she is known to create positive dental experiences and good foundations for lifelong oral health.
Elvina has extensive experience across both the public and private sectors, with a focus on evidence-based, minimal intervention, preventive and holistic dentistry. Elvina enjoys working with patients to identify and educate them on their disease risk factors and achieve control of their oral health outcomes through individually tailored care plans.
Elvina is also an academic and lecturer at the Adelaide Dental School, teaching into both undergraduate and post graduate programs, and is completing a Masters in Clinical Education. She has two primary school aged children, and like every busy parent, spends most of her time running around to extra-curricular activities.
